Planned Redensification
Due to the existing potential of the attic and the existing urban development situation of the neighborhood, the owners intend to extend the attic. The height of the roof cladding of the main building remains unchanged. The extension will be carried out on the inside. The rear building will receive a new roof. Fire barriers to the neighboring building will be made by one-sided fire protection cantilever plates, so that a greater height is possible in the attic interior. The apartment unit in the rear building is connected to two staircases. Family-friendly and residential elevators in the rear courtyard contribute to the accessibility of the attic floors, as well as the existing apartments.
Ecological Concept
